Event Launches, Social Networking, and Keeping Event Costing in Check
Event launches don’t have to have a large costing tab attached. There are several creative, inexpensive things you can do and still launch a very successful, effective event.
You can start with conducting a survey through a social network platform to get direct feedback from your clientele and potential clientele as to their interest and you can plan your event launches accordingly. Regardless of their suggestions, you can always find a way to offer it inexpensively. For more on how to properly plan an event launch, please see: Event Launch Guidelines.
The Event Launches and social media Dynamic Duo
You can accomplish obtaining your feedback by using a social networking platform with Events Listed and you can use this same social networking platform to distribute the information about your event, collect money if you are selling tickets, and allow for your guests to communicate and interact right on your web page by social networking around you and your event. Pretty cool, huh? You can do this before, after, and even during your event. Even cooler.
Events Listed social media platform allows for you to not only get feedback from your guests, not only publish the scoop on your event launch and send invitations, not only allow for your guests to participate in social networking together, but it also allows for you to have a web page to market (in addition to your offline marketing for your event launches). You can also set up auto email responders, manage your guest list, manage your budget, create automatic ticketing, design schedules, and much more – all for free.
Event Launches and Low Costing
How much of an investment in costing do you need to put into an event launch to materialize into a successful endeavor? Well, it all depends on your event itself, but pretty much other than some refreshments and decorations, you may only have to pay for one or two more additives. For more on event costing and conceptualization, please see: Event Costing
For example, if you are a coffee shop owner, it could be a great idea to offer a raffle to win a spectacular, state-of-the-art coffee/ capachino / expresso machine. That way you only purchase one item to be given away but it will draw many paying customers hoping to cash in. Or what about getting their direct feedback by involving them in a blind coffee tasting contest? People love to be asked their opinion – and they get to taste test. Yum. Be sure to spill the beans on this event and make sure it is well known and let everyone get super pumped on the caffeine. Why not?
It’s just a manner of planning and being strategic. What do you want to get out of hosting your event? What message do you want to send? What do you want your participants to take away from it? How do you want them to remember their experience?
Know that you can re-launch the same campaign as many times as needed. Introduce a few others and keep the increase in your business increasing. Sounds like a master plan to us. Why don’t you give it a try?
